Great little town. The shops and restaurants were quite an experience. I really enjoyed walking around the town and in and out of the shops. The train ride to the Grand Canyon was wonderful. There was plenty to do whether you were walking, driving, or on a bike.

The Grand Canyon Train was a great excursion and would recommend it to anyone interested in visiting the Grand Canyon area from the south rim, but I would DEFINITELY DISUADE everyone from lodging at that property.
I personally would NEVER, EVER stay at that hotel again so long as I am breathing.
I hope you can garner my(our) extreme dissatisfaction with this property in particular.

This quiet and quirky town is loacted an hour from the South Rim Trail of the Grand Canyon.
We stayed at the Highlander Motel which is only a short distance walk to some great local resturants and bars, gas stations and grocery stores.
We ate at the Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe, I highly rate the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwhich and the atomosphere was that of a true diner.
The locals are great and I hope any one who vists, enjoys Williams as much as I did!

Friendly staff and cute property with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Super accommodating and easy to find with attractions and places to eat within a 3 to 15 minutes drive depending on which business you chose to visit. It is also about an hours (1hr) drive away from the Grand Canyon. Was a relaxing and fun experience.

Williams is a great little historic town A lot of great eating options and the gateway to the Grand Canyon. The pizza place/brewery is great and the Pine Breakfast Restaurant is amazing. The Route 66 Diner has great service but the food is meh. I wish we had more time to spend in actual Williams and walk around to all of the fun shops!
The Staff was very friendly and polite, our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The indoor pool and Jacuzzi was really nice. We will be staying here again.
It was really close to the Gateway to the Grand Canyon.
Which is the town of Williams.
I Loved this little town, lots of cute Shops, Restaurants Hotels & Bars.
And it is only about 10 minutes to Bearizona which is a must see.
Plus you can catch the train to the Grand Canyon from here.
All in all, in was a really nice little Vacation.
A very pleasant qwerky good old style " mom and pop" hotel. Small rooms but very pleasant if your looking for an all singing, all dancing hotel with all tge modern facilities thus isn't the place but if you want a really friendly welcome and a true feel of nostalgia fir Route66 then this is the place for you. We loved it and would definitely stay again as well as recommending it to any one wanting to stay in Williams AZ.
When staying near Williams this is a great option instead of a hotel room. If you would like to have some outdoor time while you are there, this location is a great fit. We enjoyed having a fire and sitting out side. They staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome right when we stepped into the office. The RV was clean and the bed was comfortable. They even provided a small welcome basket with snacks.
The location was perfect. It was a redone house on the edge of a homey neighborhood in old Williams. Very clean place. Very sweet front garden with outdoor seating areas. I was welcomed by one of the guests upon arrival. The key waited for me with my name on it. The bed was very freshly made with fresh rolled towels and slippers nearby. The showers were separate from the toilet areas.
good location in williams (short drive from downtown) and easy access to highway/1 hour to grand canyon. There were 2 large tourist groups (2 full buses) that stayed same night but was still very quiet. Breakfast was a battle for tables but food was good/standard fare and replenished often. coffee and tea available 24 hrs. Front desk staff were very nice/helpful.
Wonderful experience at the Grand Canyon Hotel. It was so great to stay in a historical building that captured all of the charm and history of long ago. The owner was so nice and caring, and I really appreciated all the thought that went into the hotel to make it a nice stay. If I am ever in Northern Arizona, I am 100% staying here again!
We have been going to Williams in the first week of December for over 10 years. We have stayed in tents, trailers, hotels, and rentals. This place was the best. Close to where we needed to be. Warm inviting comfortable. Loved the amenities in the kitchen and the little treats for us.
We are hoping to get this again next year.
Williams is the most charming little city. Loved it! The hotel is very quiet and clean. Staff is very helpful and polite! The indoor pool was a bonus for the kids! Breakfast is ok. Not amazing but good enough and plenty of food! Recommended for a Grand Canyon visit!
Better location and much cheaper than Flagstaff if you're going to Grand Canyon. Clean and simple rooms with everything you actually need. Good coffee in the morning. Who wants hotel breakfast anyway, restaurants nearby are great
Good size king room, clean and well maintained. We were in Williams for the train to the Grand Canyon this hotel is ideally located for this, it is literally a five minute walk to the train station.
Williams is a lovely location to stay on Route 66, plenty to see and do. The Inn was clean, plenty of towels, coffee maker, fridge in room. Plenty of free parking also. Breakfast included and wifi.
We traveled to visit the Grand Canyon via the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, Az. Naturally we chose the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and we were so glad we did. it was perfect in every way.
The Receptionist Ben was friendly & exceptionally helpful with local information when checking in.
Comfortable room. Williams is a fantastic place on Route 66 for a one night stop - loved it
The staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean & well maintained. It is the perfect stop if you are going to the Grand Canyon. The room we got was quiet & comfortable, also big enough.
Pleasant town of Williams, a very good starting point for visiting the Grand Canyon. Hotel in a good location next to the highway. A normal American breakfast. Friendly staff.
